We’re open!

Here’s how we can help and what we’re doing to keep us all as safe as possible.

All four of our practitioners will be back to full hours by the first of July. Read below about the measures we’re taking to help keep you safe! But if you can’t come in, consider a teleheath appointment. Via phone or secure, private video chat, we can discuss your health concern and develop an at-home treatment plan. So far, this approach has been very effective! Schedule at praxis.fullslate.com.

The safety of our staff and clients is extremely important to us. We are following all CDC, state, City of Chicago, and professional association guidelines. Here’s a list of the measures we’re taking to keep us all safe when you come for your appointments:

  • We ask that all clients:
    • Wear a mask.
    • Wash your hands when you enter the office.
    • Allow us to take your temperature (with a non-contact infrared thermometer) when you arrive.
    • Do not arrive more than 5 minutes early so that you do not come in contact with the previous client.
    • Forgive us if we have to shoo you out the door so that we can clean before the next person comes! We love chatting with our clients, and we have given ourselves ample time between sessions to clean, but we might not be able to linger for very long after your treatment concludes.
    • Cancel if you feel sick. (No cancelation fee.)
  • All practitioners will:
    • Wear a mask.
    • Wash our hands before your treatment.
    • Take our temperatures before we begin our workday.
    • Cancel if we feel sick.
  • In the space we will:
    • Sanitize all door knobs, the water cooler, other high-touch surfaces, the waiting area and the bathroom before each and every client.
    • Sanitize the treatment tables and surfaces in the treatment rooms before each client.
    • Minimize your exposure to others by spacing out appointments.
      • The most we’ll ever have in the office at one time is one massage therapist + Dr. Willetts, and one client each per practitioner.
      • We can easily social distance, so you will not need to share space with anyone except your practitioner.
      • By creating more space between appointments, you will not be spending any time in the waiting area with anyone else.
  • Other ways we can help:
    • If you’d prefer, your practitioner can wear gloves during your treatment.
    • What else? Let us know! What more can we do to help you feel safe here at Praxis? Email us with your comments, questions or concerns at info at praxischicago.com

We hope you’re all doing okay during these unprecedented times. Take care of yourselves! We miss you and hope to see you again soon.
